Stahlwille Combination Ratcheting Spanners Open-Ratch is made of chrome alloy steel, drop forged, hardened, and tempered to provide high torque and added leverage, and polished with a chrome finish for protection against corrosion. This professional combination-ended spanner is reversible and has 72 teeth and thin-walled rings which facilitate work in confined or tight spaces, perfect hand tool for automotive repair and maintenance, machinery, etc. In addition, the rings are higher than standard nuts - which prevents the spanner from seizing on the nut. The Anti-Slip Drive (AS Drive) profile enables high-force transmission without damaging the fasteners. While the force acts on the flats of the screws, the corners are left free and are not rounded off. Thanks to the forged bi-hex, they are tougher than any fastener. When force is applied to a spanner, the greatest force acts on the area between the jaw and the shank, which is why Stahlwille spanners are reinforced at this point. The special design makes the load zones more resilient, which reduces the risk of breakage to a minimum.
